Byron Bank Wins Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album

In August of 2019, Byron Bank was presented an Akademia Music Award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album for “Drank & Bottled Up Emotions”. The Akademia Board expressed that this album represented a “important contribution towards the diversity and advancement of the global community” (Akademia, 2019). Along with this win, Byron is now nominated for two awards, “Artist of the Year” and “Artist Vision Award”.
